Events Calendar

The club organises technical and social events for the benefit of all members. Most events are one day events held at picturesque locations. Morning tea and lunch breaks provide a relaxing social get together for participants. Social outings; such as boat cruises, theatre parties, long weekends away, are organized for members enjoyment. The annual Christmas picnic complete with Santa tops off the years events.

BBQ and Morris Show Evening
This meeting will be held at Lots of Watts, 22 South Street, Rydalmere. Drive your Morris and arrive there by 6.30pm for a sausage sizzle BBQ. Please bring your plates and cutlery and as a special treat, a beer or glass of wine is permitted. Our meeting will begin at 8.00pm. For those who didn’t attend registration day, there is plenty of on-site parking and if it rains, we will be under cover. Also, if it’s hot …………. the meeting room is air conditioned!!!    See you there.

21st March

Oakville Fire Brigade’s Family Day
Oakville Fire Brigade’s Family Day at Pitt Town & District Sports Club, 139 Old Pitt Town Road, Pitt Town. Displays of old cars, scooters, micro cars, bikes, vintage trucks, tractors, busses, go-carts and more, plus a hugh auction to raise funds for the Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade. $5.00 entry per adult, $2.00 children. Meet at the hotel on the corner of Windsor and Pitt Town Roads at 9.15am for a 9.30am departure. BYO lunch or buy at the event.

1st - 5th April

17th Morris Registers' National Rally
17th Morris Registers' of Australia Rally, hosted by the Morris Register of Queensland and held in Goondiwindi.

Settled in the 1840's by pastoralists, Goondiwindi emerged in the latter half of the 19th century as an important administrative and commercial centre.

Goondiwindi's name stems from Aboriginal origin, meaning 'Resting Place of the Birds'.

16th May

National Motoring Day
innwood House, 25 Byron Road, Guildford. Built in 1891 by George McCreadie. Gates open at 10.00am and admission is free if cars are on display until 3.00pm. Tours of the house are $2.00 p/p. Display of model trains for the gents and craft for the ladies. Sausage sizzle, sandwiches and drinks available.

4th June

20th June

Gosford Swap Meet
Gosford Swap Meet, (Central Coast Historic Car Club) Showground Road, Gosford. Gates open 6.00am, hot food and drinks available, admission $3.00 children free. No dogs allowed.

11th July

Prestentation Day
Nurrangingi Reserve, Knox Road, Doonside, Rosella area from 10.00am. BBQ supplied by the Register. BYO everything else

Please advise Wendy before the July meeting if you are attending for catering purposes

6th August

Burwood Classic
Burwood Park, cnr. Burwood & Park Roads Burwood. Car entry from 7.00am to 9.30am. Plenty of things to see and do, 15 trophies to be won. Register by 19th August 2010.

Floriade in Canberra
Members will travel by coach and is limited to 50 people. 20+ names on list already. We will visit Floriade (visits to Museum or War Memorial a possibility) on Saturday and Cockington Green on Sunday with a stop off at Gundaroo on the way home. Approximate cost (depending on numbers) is $225.00 a double and $157.00 a single and includes bus, Floriade, accommodation in Queanbeyan with breakfast, entry to Cockington Green. $50.00 deposit required at the May meeting for accommodation deposit.
